Must Have Skills :
- Architecture and design using BODS 3.1/3.2/4.0
2. Should have provided architecture and design to cater various EDW/Data Migration engagements
3. Should have worked on data quality / cleansing transformations using BODS (e.g. customer address data cleansing,matching, de-duplication). Building batch and real-time jobs.
4. Installation and administration experience working with central repository and version management in multi-user environment
5. Involved in BODS version upgrade activities from preparation activities, backout plan and execution is a plus
6. Good exposure to logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and transformation, data loading & SQL
7. Experience on performance tuning for complex ETL routines/SQL
8. Well aware of CDC techniques, event based/custom scheduling, full refresh/incremental data loading mechanisms
9. Basic reporting skills to support adhoc business reports and KPI dashboards using SAP BO Designer & WebI is a plus
10. Experience in using third party address refererence repositories for cleansing (e.g. D&B, USPS repositories)
11. Consulting, customer presentation skills, solution building/approach and effort estimation
12. Experience working with other industry leading ETL & Cleaning tools is a plus (e.g. Informatica, IBM Information server)
Role/Responsibilities :
- Provide architecture and design using BODS (e.g. data migration, cleansing, datawarehousing engagements)
2. Understand the business data requirements and translate it into solution framework/architecture
3. Communicating the architecture in an understandable way to wider audience and make it effective in results
4. Execute information management engagements using BODS. Open to learn & work on other ETL / Data cleansing tools as required
5. Design re-usable data conversion/transformation and cleansing components
6. Mentor implementation support/guidance to the various project teams
7. Support new opportunities on BODS by defining solution approach, estimation etc.
