The global consulting team is recruiting highly motivated individuals in its consulting Go-to Market team. We intend to capitalize on the tremendous market opportunity in the Telecom equipment manufacturing industry in US and plans to use this position as a key resource in building a high-impact, lasting and profitable presence in the marketplace.
Candidate must have technology industry experience and experience in one or more of following areas
Business Performance. The Business Performance practice addresses the strategic, operational, and organizational challenges that many businesses face today and offers transformational programs that result in top-line growth, cost reduction and operational excellence. Other offerings include M&A divestiture services, organizational design and change management, business process improvement, supply chain management and customer relationship management and BPO consulting services.
IT Planning and Governance. The IT Planning and Governance practice advises CIO’s on their IT transformation journey, helping them achieve business objectives by providing best practices on strategy, governance and risk and developing, implementing and managing the IT estate. Its offerings include IT Management & Planning, IT Process Improvement, Risk & Compliance, and IT Operations & Service Management.
Enterprise Architecture. The Enterprise Architecture practice aligns the business needs and priorities of the CIO, CTO and enterprise architecture organizations, enabling them to respond rapidly to dynamic business needs while maintaining appropriate security safeguards. Its core service offerings span across three broad areas: IT and E-Business Strategy and Architecture, Data / Information Management Strategy and Architecture, Security Strategy and Architecture.
Industry Services. The Industry Services practice delivers world-class solutions to the Government, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, Technology, Telecom, Retail, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and Life Sciences industry. Its team of domain specialists imparts a broad and informed view of the competitive marketplace, a keen sense of the industry’s evolution, a working knowledge of the industry’s products, services and value propositions.
Job Summary
The Consulting Partner will be a key member of our Consulting team. The Consulting Partner will be assigned to a single large client, focused on building strategic partnerships with clients and managing delivery, growth and operations of the client account. The Consulting Partner is expected to identify and qualify new opportunities in the client account to meet revenue demands and ensure that budgets, profitability and timelines for client projects are well within estimated targets.
As an experienced member of the team, the Consulting Partner will share ownership and accountability for the successful execution of engagements together with project managers and client teams. This includes consistent oversight of performance and deliverables and recognition of risks to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets
- Develop and enhance relationships with senior level executives
- Develop client strategy together with account teams of the assigned account
- Proactively identify new opportunities and build solution approaches
- Oversee project performance and deliverables and ensure high levels of client satisfaction during delivery for the consulting engagements
- Manage expectations and alignment between client teams and stakeholders
- Facilitate client meetings and communicate client activities and issues
- Play advisory role to Client Relationship Managers and Program Managers on assigned account
- Monitor budget, profitability and timelines of consulting projects
- Ensure prompt billing and budget compliance

Qualifications
- 10 to 20 years of professional experience in a consulting environment along with sales contribution and team leadership experience
- Engagement management experience at a top tier consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Booz-Allen Hamilton, Big 4 consulting firm, top-tier systems integrator) is required.
- Powerful verbal / written / presentation / facilitation / communication skills
- Experience motivating and leading large subordinate team
- Experience facilitating client meetings and managing multiple client projects
- Ability to understand a client’s business organization, as well as industry and segment trends
- Ability to work independently
- Willing to travel locally to client sites
- Excellent client presence
- Expertise in technology and business initiatives
- Experience as a contributor / participant in sales activities - proposals, etc.
- Depth to support practice methodology, growth and mentor affiliated team members
- B.A. / B.S.
- Masters Degree preferred
Location / Travel:
- Extensive travel (domestic or international) may be required.
